Operated year-round by a U.S. Coast Guard‑licensed captain, the trip includes up to two daytime stops for swimming and relaxation, sunset viewing, and nighttime observation of bioluminescence from the boat. Timing and stops vary by season and conditions, and the captain selects the safest route for your experience.

Children ages 1 to 4 may participate only when their parent or legal guardian provides a correctly sized, properly fitted, U.S. Coast Guard-approved infant or child life jacket appropriate for the child’s weight. All children count toward the maximum capacity of 6 guests and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Restrictions
- Swimming or entering the water inside the Bioluminescent Bay is prohibited under DRNA Regulation 8013 and Administrative Order DRNA 2023-02.
- Smoking, drugs, and controlled substances are prohibited. Participation while under the intoxicating effects of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance is not permitted.
- Glass bottles and other glass containers are not permitted aboard the vessel.
- The maximum weight per participant is 300 lbs (136 kg).
- All participants must follow the captain’s instructions and comply with the published safety and participation requirements.
- Unsafe, aggressive, abusive, disruptive, disorderly, or inappropriate behavior is prohibited.
- Refusing to follow the captain’s instructions or creating a risk to any participant, the captain, the vessel, or the environment may result in denied or terminated participation without a refund.
- Caribbean Chiliboats and Caribbean Water Cycling, LLC reserve the right of admission and participation.
Health & Safety
- Boarding takes place directly from the shoreline and requires walking several steps through shallow water. Water shoes or sandals that can get wet are required.
- All guests must be able to independently board and disembark using the vessel’s ladder. This experience is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for guests who require physical assistance to use the ladder.
- The maximum weight per guest is 300 lbs (136 kg).
- U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets are provided for guests ages 5 and older. All children under 13 must wear a correctly sized, properly fitted, U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket while the vessel is underway. Life jackets must also be worn whenever directed by the captain.
- Children ages 1 to 4 may participate only when their parent or legal guardian provides a correctly sized, properly fitted, U.S. Coast Guard-approved infant or child life jacket appropriate for the child’s weight. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and all children count toward the maximum capacity of 6 guests.
- Swimming during the daytime portion is optional, permitted only in areas authorized by the captain, and undertaken at each guest’s own risk. Before entering the water, guests should consider their swimming ability, physical condition, and the water conditions.
- Swimming or entering the water inside the Bioluminescent Bay is prohibited under DRNA Regulation 8013 and Administrative Order DRNA 2023-02.
- Smoking, drugs, and controlled substances are prohibited. Guests may not participate while under the intoxicating effects of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance.
- Glass bottles and other glass containers are not permitted aboard the vessel.
- Guests with medical conditions should consult their physician before booking when appropriate, notify Caribbean Chiliboats in advance, and bring any necessary personal medications.
- The captain has final authority over all safety and operational decisions and may modify the route, stops, schedule, or duration because of weather, sea, environmental, navigational, mechanical, operational, or safety conditions.
- Participation may be denied or terminated without a refund if a guest refuses to follow instructions, fails to meet the published requirements, displays unsafe, aggressive, abusive, disruptive, disorderly, or inappropriate behavior, or creates a risk to themselves, other guests, the captain, the vessel, or the environment.
- Guests are responsible for protecting their phones, cameras, and other personal belongings from loss, damage, or water exposure.

Bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon; visibility and intensity may vary and cannot be guaranteed. The captain will select routes and stops based on safety and conditions; specific destinations are not guaranteed. The amount of time spent at cays, sunset and the Bioluminescent Bay may vary due to seasonal schedule, weather, sea, environmental, navigational and operational conditions. Boarding takes place from the shoreline and requires walking through shallow water and using the vessel ladder. Reduced visibility or intensity of bioluminescence does not qualify for a refund. The $350 partial refund for a canceled Bioluminescent Bay portion does not apply if the customer or group decides not to continue, arrives late, leaves early, fails to meet requirements, appears under the influence, displays unsafe behavior, or refuses to follow the captain’s instructions. If the company cancels the entire charter before departure, the customer may reschedule or receive a full refund.

Cancellation & Change Policy
Cancellations or changes made at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure are eligible for a refund, less a non-refundable 10% administrative and processing fee.
Cancellations or changes made less than 48 hours before departure are non-refundable and are not eligible for credits, date changes, modifications, transfers, or rescheduling. Reservations made less than 48 hours before departure are final and non-refundable.
The charter price applies to the entire private vessel. Reducing the number of participants does not reduce the charter price and does not qualify for a partial refund or credit.
Late Arrivals & No-Shows
Guests must arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled 1:30 p.m. departure. Check-in closes at departure time.
Late arrivals, no-shows, missed departures, early departures, or a guest’s decision not to continue with the charter are non-refundable and are not eligible for credits, date changes, modifications, transfers, or rescheduling.
Weather, Safety & Operational Conditions
The captain may modify the route, stops, schedule, or duration because of weather, sea, navigational, safety, environmental, mechanical, or operational conditions.
If Caribbean Water Cycling, LLC cancels the entire charter before departure, guests may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.
If the daytime portion has been completed, but Caribbean Water Cycling, LLC or the captain determines that the Bioluminescent Bay portion cannot be completed safely, the customer will receive a $350 partial refund from the total amount paid.
The $350 partial refund does not apply when the Bioluminescent Bay portion is not completed because a guest chooses not to continue, arrives late, leaves early, fails to meet participation or safety requirements, appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, engages in unsafe or inappropriate behavior, or refuses to follow the captain’s instructions.
Bioluminescence
Bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon. Its visibility and intensity may vary because of natural and environmental conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
Reduced visibility or intensity of the bioluminescence does not constitute a cancellation and does not qualify for a refund.
Acknowledgment
By completing the reservation, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted this Cancellation, Weather, Safety, Participation, and Operational Policy on behalf of themselves and every participant included in the reservation.
