Important Information:
- No swimming skills required.
- Location: Chiliboats Waterbike Parguera – Punta Papayo, La Parguera.
- Please arrive 30 minutes early for check-in and mandatory safety briefing.
- Minimum height: 48″ (1.22 m). / Maximum height: 6’5″ (1.95 m).
- Maximum weight: 240 lbs (109 kg) per person / 450 lbs (204 kg) combined.
- Bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon beyond our control; its intensity may vary from day to day.

This natural phenomenon can vary depending on the moon and other factors. However, our guides always do their best to provide the best possible experience.
We are an eco-friendly experience. To preserve the area, swimming is not permitted by order of the Department of Natural Resources (Regulation No. 2023-02 and Regulation 8013).

Approximate Total Duration: 2 hours
Onshore Preparation: 30 minutes.
- You will receive a brief safety talk, instructions, and all the necessary equipment to get ready for the adventure.
Water Adventure: 60-90 minutes.
- Outbound Trip: 20-25 minutes to reach the bay.
- Time in the Bay: 30 minutes to enjoy the experience.
- Return Trip: 20-25 minutes to return to the starting point.

There is a $3.00 fee for the use of the Natural Reserve (a requirement of the Department of Natural Resources).

- Punctuality: Tours depart on time. Please arrive 30-45 minutes early to find parking.
- Health Conditions: Not suitable for people with claustrophobia or fear of the dark. If you have heart or medical conditions, consult with your doctor and bring necessary medications.
- Reservation Fee: There is a $3.00 fee for the use of the Natural Reserve (a requirement of the Department of Natural Resources).
- Age Requirements: Children 10 years or older may participate if they meet the height requirement.
- Height Requirements:
Minimum height: 4’6″ (54 inches / 137 cm / 1.37 m)
Maximum height: 6’5″ (77 inches / 196 cm / 1.96 m) - Weight Limits:
The tour is conducted on a double Chiliboat. To ensure everyone’s safety, it is important that individual weight does not exceed 250 pounds, and combined weight of two people on a Chiliboat must not exceed 450 pounds. Before each tour, we will conduct weight checks. If someone in your group exceeds these limits, unfortunately, will NOT be able to participate, and will NOT receive refund. Share this information with all members of your group to avoid any inconveniences. - What to Bring: Only essentials, as space is limited. Wear water shoes, sandals, or water-resistant sneakers for boarding/disembarking, swimsuit, shorts, leggings, or comfortable exercise clothing.
- Identification: You must present ID and the credit card used for the reservation. Both must match for verification during check-in. The person making the reservation is responsible for informing all their companions about the arrival time, requirements, and all pertinent information for the tour.
- Prohibited Actions: Hitting the unit against objects, jumping from the unit, damaging it, swimming in the bioluminescent bay, smoking, and consuming alcoholic beverages (legal requirements of the Department of Natural Resources). The person who made the reservation will be responsible for any damage caused by negligence. We reserve the right of admission.
- Important: There are no restroom facilities available as we are in a natural reserve. Please plan accordingly to ensure your comfort during the tour.”
